Downloading Files:

I know we talked about this some before, but some still didn't get it.  How to download, check for virus, and then open a file.  Here is good method:

Click on item to download.   

You will be asked open or save to disk.   

Choose save to disk.

You will be asked where to save it?

 Choose desktop.

 Let the file load to the desktop.

 Use your (updated) virus checker to check the desktop files or specify the name of the file you downloaded.

If your virus checker doesn't find a virus, then move file   to the directory of your choice or open it and let it install where it wants to place itself on your drive.
